POINTS FORTS DES ACTIVITÉS DE RECHERCHE

Mon travail actuel s’oriente autour du changement démographique en Asie et notamment de la question de la masculinisation observée dans de nombreux pays, du Caucase à l’Asie orientale. Le développement des avortements sexo-sélectifs s’explique notamment par la baisse de la fécondité, l’offre accrue de technologie de sélection sexuelle ainsi que la préférence ancestrale pour les garçons dans les systèmes patriarcaux.

Une autre dimension de mon travail concerne les outils de la démographie, notamment les simulations et les méthodes dérivées de l’économétrie spatiale, ainsi que les méthodes d’analyse comparative.
