Bangladesh faces climate-induced mental health impacts : discussion
Speakers at a discussion in Dubai said that Bangladesh had been experiencing an alarming impact on mental health due to factors such as extreme heat, humidity, and frequent climate change-induced events.
They said that the repercussions of rapid, widespread climate events encompass anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, elevated suicide rates, reduced well-being, ecological grief, increased domestic violence, cultural erosion, and weakened social bonds, said a press release on Friday.
