Scientifique interdisciplinaire, j’ai une formation en écologie, en évolution et en sciences sociales, et je suis spécialisée en anthropologie évolutionnaire et écologie du comportement humain. J’utilise une méthodologie mixte et mes recherches sont basées sur le terrain (Ethiopie et Ouganda, et Haiti et Bangladesh pour le projet ClimHB).
Je m’intéresse principalement à l’intersection entre nature et culture pour comprendre les comportements humains. Pour cela, j’étudie les dynamiques et changements comportementaux à l’échelle individuelle, familiale et sociétale en particulier dans des communautés appauvries confrontées à des changements socio-économiques, démographiques et écologiques.
I am an interdisciplinary scientist with a background in ecology, evolution and social sciences, specialised in evolutionary anthropology and human behavioural ecology. I use a mixed methodology and my research is field-based (Ethiopia and Uganda, and Haiti and Bangladesh for the ClimHB project).
As an interdisciplinary scientist, I am mainly interested in the intersection between nature and culture to understand human behaviour. To do this I am interested in behavioral dynamics and changes at the individual, family and societal scales. Most of my research focuses on impoverished communities facing socio-economic, demographic and ecological changes.
